Netaji Subhas University, renowned for its commitment to academic excellence and vibrant campus life, rolled out the red carpet to welcome the newest members of the 2023-26 Batch of Hotel Management. The annual "Mr. and Miss Fresher" event, held with much enthusiasm and excitement.

This grand event was blessed by our beloved Chancellor Sir, Mr. Madan Mohan Singh and graced by the presence of the (Prof) Dr. Gangadhar Panda, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Acharya Rishi Ranjan, Pro Vice Chancellor, Mr. Nagendra Kumar, Registrar, Mr. Dilip Shome, Dean Academics, Mr. Nazim Khan, Dean Academics, Md Mojib Ashraf, Head, Department for Hotel Management, along with faculty members, Mr. Indranath Mazumdar, Mr. Rupam Chatterjee, and Miss. Ashmita Chatterjee, marked the beginning of an exciting journey for the budding hoteliers.

The selection process for the titles of Mr. and Miss Fresher was a competitive one, with participants showcasing their talents, personalities, and charm. Mr. Nazish Mallick emerged as Mr. Fresher, winning over the hearts of both judges and the audience with his charisma and talent. Miss Nidhi, with her grace and confidence, earned the title of Miss Fresher, captivating everyone in the room.

Md Mojib Ashraf, HOD of Hotel Management, expressed his pride in the newly inducted students and emphasized the importance of not just academic excellence but also all-round development. He encouraged the fresh faces to make the most of their time at Netaji Subhas University and to explore their potential both inside and outside the classroom.
